Mudawwin is a fast, private, Notion-style notes and tasks app — built natively for iPhone. Capture a thought in under two seconds. Express structure entirely from the keyboard. Nest pages as deep as you want. Render Arabic right-to-left out of the box. And keep everything on your device by default — no account, no servers, no analytics. — A REAL BLOCK EDITOR, ON IPHONE — Every paragraph, heading, to-do, list item, quote, code block, and divider is its own focused, editable block. Tap into a block to write. Type "/" to swap a block to a different type. Use Markdown shortcuts like # for a heading or - for a list. Backspace at the start of an empty block to remove it. It's the block model you know, designed first for one thumb on a glass screen. — ORGANIZE WITHOUT FRICTION — • Folders and nested pages — go as deep as your project needs • Breadcrumbs to find your way back up the tree • A dedicated Tasks tab that gathers every to-do across all your pages • Optional Daily Note for journaling • Spotlight integration — find any note straight from the iOS home screen • Trash with 30-day recovery before permanent deletion — BUILT FOR iOS 26 — • Native SwiftUI with Liquid Glass throughout the chrome • Dynamic Type from XS through AX5 — large text never truncates • VoiceOver labels and traits on every block • Reduce Motion and Reduce Transparency fully respected • Default, Dark, and Tinted app icons — BUILT FOR ARABIC — The editor is right-to-left aware out of the box. Type Arabic, English, or both — the system bidirectional algorithm handles mixed text correctly. Numbers and punctuation behave the way they should. (The app chrome is currently English-LTR; a fully localized RTL chrome is on the roadmap.) — PRIVATE BY DESIGN — • No accounts, no sign-in, no servers • No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no third-party SDKs • Your notes are stored locally on your iPhone with Apple's SwiftData • If iCloud Backup is enabled, your data rides along inside your encrypted device backup — and that's between you and Apple • Read the full privacy policy from inside the app, under Settings → About — ON THE ROADMAP — • Markdown export • Optional iCloud sync between your own Apple devices • Full RTL chrome localization • iPad and Mac layouts Mudawwin is built for the kind of people who think on a phone and want their thoughts to keep up.
