DAILY PICKS No more scrolling through every feed: in a few minutes you know what has been happening. Open Discover and AI picks the stories worth reading, each with a summary, key developments, what each source says and the articles that cover it. You can also listen to it as a briefing. AUDIO SUMMARY When you can't look at the screen, let AI read the summary aloud. Playback starts a few seconds after you tap play. TRANSLATION Foreign articles are translated paragraph by paragraph, with the translation under each original paragraph. Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: FeedLyst at 5.0 against PoweReader's 4.4. FeedLyst also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). PoweReader's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (13 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FeedLyst sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and PoweReader sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
FeedLyst holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PoweReader has 13 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of FeedLyst's written reviews are positive against 62% of PoweReader's.
FeedLyst ships an update every 10 days, PoweReader monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
