Take back control of your iPhone. App Lock helps you lock and block apps so you can focus, study, sleep and keep private apps away from others — all with one tap. Built on Apple's Screen Time technology, App Lock works safely and privately on your device. 4 SMART MODES Create the perfect setup for every moment of your day: Privacy Mode — keep personal apps away from curious eyes Work Mode — block social media and games while you work Study Mode — remove distractions while you learn Bedtime Mode — put your phone down and sleep better Choose the apps for each mode, then pick a style: Lock — apps stay on your Home Screen but show a Screen Time shield when opened Block — apps disappear from your Home Screen while the mode is on DEEP FOCUS SESSIONS Start a focus session from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Your chosen apps are blocked until the timer ends, and you'll get a notification when they unlock. Turn on Strict Focus so the session can't be ended early. AUTOMATIC SCHEDULES Let modes run on autopilot. Set start and end times and choose the days — Work Mode on weekday mornings, Bedtime Mode every night. Schedules work even when App Lock is closed. TAKE A BREAK Need an app for a moment? Take a short break, and the mode switches back on automatically when it ends. CLOSE EVERY LOOPHOLE Add extra protection to any mode: Block in-app purchases Block adult websites in Safari and other browsers Block explicit music, podcasts and books Prevent apps from being deleted Prevent new apps from being installed SECRET NOTES Write private notes and keep them safe behind your passcode. PASSCODE PROTECTION Protect App Lock with a passcode so no one else can change your modes. Set up a recovery phrase in case you ever forget it. APP LOCK PRO Get the most out of App Lock with Pro: Unlimited apps in every mode and focus session Automatic schedules Prevent app deletion Prevent new app installs PRIVACY FIRST App Lock uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework and asks for permission through a system prompt. The apps you choose are kept private by Apple — App Lock can't see which apps you selected or how you use them. Your settings and notes are stored on your device. SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
