About

Owake Wake Challenge

Features

Owake is an alarm app built around one rule: you must prove you’re awake. Instead of dismissing your alarm with a simple tap, Owake asks you to read a passage aloud. Your spoken reading is checked against the expected text to determine whether you are actually awake enough to continue. Owake is designed to feel serious, controlled, and fair. It is not a soft reminder app. It is built for people who want mornings to be harder to fake. Features: • Speech-based wake challenge • Alarm labels, notes, and repeat schedules • Support for English, German, French, and Spanish • Curated and fallback challenge passages for reliable wake checks • User-submitted passage suggestions • Clean light and dark themes • VoiceOver support, Reduced Motion support, and strong contrast • Focused alarm management with a clear, uncluttered experience If you fail the challenge, give up, or miss the wake window, Owake can enter a locked state. To reopen it, you need a one-time unlock purchase. Each lock requires a new purchase. Previous purchases do not automatically clear future locks. Owake is for people who want a stronger wake-up system, not a softer one.
