Yarai scores skincare ingredients by how much is in the formula, not just whether they appear. It reads any label with no barcode, estimates each ingredient's rough concentration from INCI list position, and analyzes your entire routine for graded conflicts with severity reasoning. Trace amounts and active doses are judged differently, the way cosmetic chemistry actually works. Thresholds follow EU regulation (CosIng). Yarai was built for the moment you're standing in front of your shelf wondering if any of it is actually working. SCAN ANY PRODUCT IN SECONDS: Point your camera at the front label. No barcode needed, so it works on Korean products, overseas, or brand-new items other apps can't find. Yarai reads the label, recovers the full ingredient list, and estimates concentrations from label order, because the law requires that order to follow concentration. Then it tells you what's doing the work and what's just along for the ride. Works on skincare, haircare, and cosmetics. An honest score, not a verdict. Here's something most skincare apps won't tell you: nobody outside the lab knows the exact concentrations in your bottle. Brands are only required to list ingredients in order of how much is in the formula, from most to least. That order is real information: it's the difference between a product built around an active and one where that active is a rounding error near the bottom of the label. So we read it, carefully, and estimate from it. But an estimate is what it is, and we'd rather say so than dress it up. Your 0-to-100 score is built from that ordering, with formulation context applied wherever we can actually verify it. It's honest math, not a measurement, and it was never meant to be a diagnosis. Use it the way it's good for: comparing two products side by side, catching the thing on the label worth a second look, walking into the store knowing which question to ask. A number that helps you think is worth more than a verdict that asks you to stop. UNDERSTAND THE SCORE: Every product gets a 0–100 score based on its ingredients, their estimated concentrations, and the evidence behind them. See exactly which ingredients affected the score, and why. Context-aware for your situation: pregnancy, acne-prone, sensitive, and more. SEE HOW YOUR PRODUCTS INTERACT: Some ingredients reduce each other's effectiveness. Others can irritate when layered. Yarai checks your whole routine and grades interactions by severity, from "space these out" to "don't combine," with the reasoning for each. Your shelf works as one system instead of fighting itself. BUILD A ROUTINE THAT MAKES SENSE: Add your products and Yarai builds an AM/PM routine around your skin type and concerns. Know what to apply, when, and why. INDEPENDENT BY DESIGN: Scores come from ingredient research and EU/FDA regulatory data, never from brand relationships. No brand can pay to change a score. Side-by-side product comparison Alternates surface: when you have multiple products that fill the same step, Yarai shows you which to swap in and when Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
