About

Garfada

Features

Garfada is the food diary that runs entirely on your iPhone. No account, no ads, no subscription, and your food never goes to a cloud. NUMBERS FROM A TABLE, NOT A GUESS Calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber and sodium come from TACO, the Brazilian Food Composition Table (NEPA/UNICAMP), with IBGE household measures: ladle, slice, tablespoon. The source sits next to every number. Your daily target comes from the Mifflin-St Jeor equation with your weight, height, age and routine, and you can change it. YOUR DIETITIAN'S PLAN, FROM A PHOTO Take a photo of the meal plan (or use a PDF) and Garfada reads the text on device, splits the meals and matches each item to the table. The plan shows up inside each meal of the day as "what the dietitian asked", with a button to log it as written. Lab results and body composition come in the same way and are stored by date, without interpretation: they are for you and your health professional. AN ASSISTANT THAT REMEMBERS YOU Say what you ate in your own words ("2 bread rolls at breakfast") and it finds it in the table, computes the grams and proposes the entry; nothing enters the diary without your tap. Ask what is missing to close the day and it answers with your numbers. With Apple Intelligence on, the chat runs on your iPhone with Apple's model, and what it remembers about you is only saved after you confirm. THE DAY ON ONE SCREEN Calorie ring, nutrient bars, water in one tap, meals as cards. Day score, streak, trophies and levels to keep the rhythm without guilt. YOUR DATA IS YOURS Export everything as JSON or CSV and import it back on another device. No account, no server, no tracking. Garfada estimates; it does not replace a dietitian or doctor. In Portuguese and English.
