Fortune

This app gives you an overview of all your assets and liabilities. You can either manually add values, or track precious metals, crypto, or stocks and etfs live, by just adding the amount you own, while the value is calculated automatically. If you regularly add snapshots of your overview to the local database, you get many statistics on your wealth development. See which of your assets have developed best over time and get many plots and visualizations of the trends. The app consumes all inputs completely offline. Therefore all your data stays encrypted on your iPhone only.

Paydar catches every subscription charge before it lands. See what you really pay, get a heads-up before each renewal, and keep it all private. Streaming, apps, the gym, cloud storage… small monthly charges add up fast. Paydar puts them all on one radar: the closer a subscription sits to the centre, the sooner it charges you. Track them, see what's coming, and cancel what you no longer use. WHY PAYDAR • Free and unlimited - track as many subscriptions as you want • Private by design - no account, no sign-up. Your data stays on your device, with an automatic backup to your own private iCloud • See the real cost - monthly, yearly and daily totals, one tap apart FEATURES • Radar - every charge in the next 30 days at a glance • Renewal reminders - a heads-up days before you're charged, at a time you choose • Mark as paid - log each payment and keep a history of what you spent • Free-trial tracking - never get surprise-charged when a trial ends • 150+ currencies with live exchange rates - perfect for subscriptions billed abroad • Flexible billing cycles - weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, or a custom "every N days/weeks/months" • How to cancel - step-by-step cancellation guides for popular services • Payment methods - see which card or account pays for what • Widgets - your next renewal on the Home Screen and Lock Screen • Spending stats - monthly trends and a breakdown by category • Backup & export - automatic iCloud backup, plus CSV export and JSON backups DESIGNED TO BE CALM A dark, quiet interface that makes keeping an eye on your money feel effortless. PRICING Paydar is free and ad-supported. Not a fan of ads? A single one-time purchase removes them forever. No subscription, ever. (Yes, we see the irony.) Paydar has no account and never sees your subscription data.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Fortune at none against Paydar's 1. Fortune also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Paydar's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 3 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
