Mizan is a prayer companion that asks nothing of you. No account, no ads, no analytics, no server of ours. Prayer times are calculated on your device from your location, and your prayers, dhikr, reading position, and journal never leave it. THE FIVE PRAYERS • A live countdown to the current prayer, not the next one. A prayer stays current until its window closes. • The full day at a glance: each prayer's start and end, sunrise, and the karahat windows. • A real muezzin at prayer time, with the dawn call kept separate because the Fajr adhan is different. • 22 calculation methods plus custom angles, both Asr conventions, high-latitude rules and per-prayer minute offsets. Your region's own authority is adopted automatically. • Prayer log and streak, Lock Screen and Dynamic Island countdown, Home Screen widgets, and a full Apple Watch app. THE QUR'AN • The complete text with the 604-page Madinah mushaf, pages turning right to left the way a printed one does. • Eleven reciters, verse by verse or continuous, downloadable for offline listening. • Word-by-word breakdowns, classical tafsir, reasons of revelation, and translator notes. • Memorization with spaced review and a listening mode that follows your recitation and tells you where you are. • Car Mode: large controls, gapless playback, and transport from the Lock Screen while you drive. FOCUS ON YOUR PRAYER • Prayer Lock uses Screen Time to hold your chosen apps closed for the minutes you set aside to pray. It is yours alone, works only on your own device, and always lets you out. • Prayer Guide with an animated demonstration of wudu and salah, step by step. BEYOND THE OBLIGATORY • Qibla compass with live declination correction. • Tasbih with curated dhikr collections and a custom set editor, and the 99 Names of Allah. • Sahih al-Bukhari, all 7,589 hadith across 97 books, in English and Turkish. • Duas and adhkar from the Qur'an and the Sunnah, Cevşen with bookmarks, and the stories of 25 prophets. • Learn Islam lessons with quizzes and a For Kids reading mode. • Hijri calendar with observances and special days, exportable to your Calendar. • A private journal you can lock with Face ID. • Ramadan Mode: a whole season that arrives with the month and leaves without trace, with imsak and iftar, fasting and tarawih trackers, a khatm plan and Laylat al-Qadr. THE GARDEN Every prayer, page and dhikr grows a tree. Seven species, five of them named in the Qur'an, from seed to fruit. MADE TO BE TRUSTED • English and Turkish, fully at parity. • Six themes, Dynamic Type, VoiceOver and Reduce Motion throughout. • Works offline: prayer times, the mushaf, hadith, duas, lessons, and downloaded recitations need no connection. • Backups you own: export and import an encrypted file, optionally with a passphrase. • Siri Shortcuts for the next prayer and today's times. Mizan is free and will stay free. The name means balance, the scale. It is what the app is for.
