Soul is for the minutes while you are still in it. You say what just happened, spoken or typed, and get one line back. Not a summary of what you said. The sentence you did not write yourself. If you want more, look closer. Soul shows what may be pulling against itself, what might sit underneath, and one question to sit with. It keeps what was offered and what you chose, both, always. Days later it asks once how that went, on the day you named. Over time, what keeps returning is offered back to you. Something the app may be noticing is shown with three equal answers: yes, no, not sure. A pattern exists only when you say it fits, and the entries behind it are always one tap away. Home shows how you decide, in your own answers, read back plainly. The people you have named, what is coming, what you decided, and the week in three sentences. It describes what happened, never what you are. A situation can change. A label follows somebody for years. What it holds: your words as sent, what you decided and what happened, the patterns you confirmed, a first name if you give one. What it does not hold: the audio, which is deleted the moment the words come back; a surname or birthdate; anything it cannot show you the source of. You can see all of it, and delete your account and everything in it from your profile at any time. Soul is not therapy, not a crisis service, and not somebody to talk to. It is the two minutes in the middle. Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: Don't Die at 679 against Soul Space's 1. Soul Space's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Soul Space holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Don't Die has 679 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
