I don't think we lost human connection. I think we built systems that suppress it. The most valuable thing in the world is still the same as it’s always been: people meeting people. That’s where everything comes from - ideas, relationships, opportunities, meaning. But look at what we use every day. Feeds. Metrics. Passive consumption. We’ve engineered a world where connection is secondary to attention. That’s backwards. So we started building something different. Ami is based on a simple belief: the right people, in the right place, at the right time 0 that’s what changes your life. When you’re in a room, traveling, in a park, at a restaurant, connections are everywhere. You are far more connected to the people around you than you realize. Social systems have solved every problem short of spatiality — the most important problem of all. These system require your location, and you build your own spatial graph out to activate it. Once you do, it feels like the world snaps into focus. Real-world interaction. Ami makes that more likely to happen. More often. More naturally. At scale. It’s not about going backwards. It’s about finally building technology that aligns with how life actually works. This is Ami. Welcome to the spatial network. Every Friday at 7pm ET, Degrees reveals your bar — chosen so you land where your friends, and the people two degrees from you, are heading. No endless group chats, no split decisions. One reveal, one night out. — YOUR NETWORK, MAPPED — See your friend graph come alive, cluster by cluster. Add friends from your contacts (matched privately — your contacts never leave your phone unhashed). — THE FRIDAY REVEAL — A push at 7pm tells you tonight's bar and who from your network is converging there. — WAVES — See someone from your network at the bar? Send a wave. Hop bars with them. — BAR DNA — Your nights build a profile of the neighborhoods and spots that are yours. Degrees is invite-only. Get a code from a friend — every member can bring five people. Requires iOS 17+. Currently live in New York City.
