RenpyReader is a native iOS player for Ren'Py visual novels. Bring the Ren'Py games you own into one app — play them offline, auto-match the engine, and keep your saves safe. Clean, fast, and privacy-first. [All your Ren'Py games in one app] Five anchored engines built in (Ren'Py 7.5.3 / 7.8.7 / 8.0.3 / 8.2.3 / 8.3.7) spanning both Python 2.7 and 3.9 runtimes, covering most Ren'Py titles from classics to the latest stable generation. After import, RenpyReader reads the bytecode signature to auto-select the best engine version — or you can pick one manually. [Import in one tap, many formats] Import your game packages from the Files app, AirDrop, the Open In menu of other apps, or a web link. Supports zip, 7z, rar, and nested APK (auto-extracted). The import pipeline handles scanning, extraction, locating the game folder, engine detection, and metadata generation automatically. [Your library, organized] Switch freely between grid and list views; covers are extracted automatically and can be customized. The detail page shows engine version, package size, import date, last played, and progress. Search and sort by title, recently played, or import date to manage your collection with ease. [Saves isolated — delete a game, keep its progress] Every game gets its own external save directory. Deleting a game keeps its saves by default, so you can re-import and continue anytime. Rolling auto-backup before launch and save import/export (zip) keep your progress safe. [Built for iPhone and iPad] Hardware-accelerated rendering via MetalANGLE, full-screen play with safe-area adaptation; touch-to-mouse mapping, edge gestures for rollback, an on-screen keyboard, and gamepad support (MFi / PlayStation / Xbox Bluetooth) put you in control. RenpyReader is not affiliated with or endorsed by the official Ren'Py project. Import only games you legally own and are authorized to run. Minimum system: iOS 16.0.
