PurgeShot watches your screenshot folder and gives every new screenshot a burn timer. When the timer runs out, the screenshot is permanently deleted — no manual clean-up needed. HOW IT WORKS • Take a screenshot — PurgeShot detects it instantly • A notification appears with a countdown timer • Adjust the timer, keep it, or send it to the Incinerator Bin • When the timer expires, the screenshot is gone for good INCINERATOR BIN Changed your mind? Screenshots you're not sure about go to the Incinerator Bin — a private holding area with its own timer. Restore anything before it's permanently incinerated. FULLY PRIVATE Everything happens on your device. Your screenshots are never uploaded, shared, or sent anywhere. PurgeShot has no server, no account, and no cloud sync. CUSTOMISABLE TIMERS Set your default burn timer from 10 minutes to 7 days. Override it per screenshot. Set a separate Bin timer from 1 hour to 30 days. Change everything any time in Settings. WORKS IN THE BACKGROUND PurgeShot runs quietly in the background and cleans up expired screenshots even when you're not using it. CLEAN, MINIMAL DESIGN A distraction-free interface that stays out of your way. Dark mode supported.
