Camarun is a fast, native viewer for your Frigate NVR. Frigate is the open-source network video recorder that runs on your own hardware and does real-time object detection on your camera feeds. Camarun gives it a proper iPhone and iPad app. LIVE VIEW - Every enabled camera at a glance, each with a continuously updating preview - Tap any camera for a full-screen live stream - Connection status always visible, so you know when a feed has gone stale DETECTION EVENTS - Browse everything Frigate detected: people, cars, animals and more - Filter the timeline down to a single camera - Each event shows its snapshot, camera, time and duration - Play back the recorded clip for any event BUILT FOR SELF-HOSTING - Connects straight to your own Frigate server. There is no Camarun cloud, account or middleman - Works with the unauthenticated API on port 5000 or the authenticated HTTPS endpoint on port 8971 - Optional username and password, stored only in your device's Keychain - Optional trust for the self-signed certificate Frigate generates by default - Use it on your LAN, or from anywhere through your own VPN or reverse proxy PRIVATE BY DESIGN Camarun collects no data. Your video, your credentials and your server address never leave your device except to talk to the Frigate instance you configured. REQUIREMENTS A running Frigate NVR server that this device can reach. Camarun is a client only: it does not record video or run detection itself.
