Lanterns.app vs Weloved

Lanterns provides a home for those hard-won pieces of advice, experience or principles that lets us live better lives, and a tiny social network with minimal notifications that helps us help others. EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

When someone dies, the people who knew them each carry a different piece of who they were. Your cousin remembers Sunday roasts. A colleague remembers a joke nobody else heard. A neighbour remembers that they always waved. Weloved is where those memories go. You make a page with their name, their dates and a photo if you have one. Share the link with the people who knew them. Anyone with the link can add a memory, on the website or in the app. Not sure what to write? A short conversation helps you find the words. It asks how you knew them and what you remember, and follows up on the small things. "You mentioned she always sang in the car. What did she sing?" You decide what goes on the page, word for word. There are no templates and no clip-art flowers, only their name, their photos and what people actually said about them. The app shows you new memories as they arrive. Make a page in minutes, even at midnight when you can barely think straight.
