Know the lake before you launch. Simplistic Fishing puts real fishing structure on your phone — brush piles, ledges, rock, roadbeds, channel swings, and the offshore spots most anglers idle right past. Search your lake, open the map, and go fish. ALL-NEW APP. EVERY U.S. LAKE. This version is a complete redesign — cleaner, faster, and easier on the water. And it brings our biggest upgrade yet: you can now open ANY lake in the United States. Every U.S. lake comes with satellite imagery and Garmin® HD Contours, so there's always a real map under you. COMPLETED LAKES: THE FULL BREAKDOWN Lakes marked "Complete" have been fully broken down by our team. Open one and every waypoint from the breakdown is already on the map — rock, brush, humps, ledges, points, roadbeds, bridges, laydowns, hazards, and more — each labeled so you know exactly what you're fishing. ANY OTHER LAKE: BUILD YOUR OWN If we haven't broken your lake down yet, you're not locked out. Open it in the map view, study the contours and satellite imagery, and drop your own custom waypoints. And tap Request Lake to tell us where to go next — angler requests drive our breakdown list. WHAT'S IN YOUR POCKET • Expert waypoints on every completed lake, labeled by structure type • Filter waypoints to match your pattern — brush, channels, drops, humps, ledges, rock, and more • Favorite the spots that produce, and clear or manage them anytime • Custom waypoints on any U.S. lake — name them, color them, keep them • Export favorites and custom spots as .GPX for Garmin®, Lowrance®, and Humminbird® units • Fishing-first weather: wind, pressure, cloud cover, and a daily fishing outlook • 7 map styles, including satellite, satellite/streets, contours, and dark mode PLANS • Single Lake — $9.99 one-time: 30 days of access to one completed lake. No auto-renew — we send a reminder 5 days before it expires. • All-Lakes Monthly — $19.99/month • All-Lakes Annual — $144.99/year (save $94.89 a year vs. monthly) All-lakes subscriptions unlock every completed lake, expert waypoints and filters, Garmin® HD Contours on all U.S. lakes, and waypoint export. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Your lake. Decoded. About

HookPoint

Features

Should I go fishing today. Where, and what do I bring. HookPoint is a free fishing companion for the bank, pier and jetty. Choose your home water and see the local day's major and minor fishing windows, the best window still ahead, and a verdict that shows its reasoning. The verdict is arithmetic. The sun and moon are calculated on your phone. When you tap Refresh, named public, keyless services supply the weather and water readings: NOAA forecasts, weather station observations, tide predictions and buoys, and USGS river gauges. Readings carry their station and time. If a signal is missing, HookPoint names it and keeps the fishing windows visible. At a coastal water, follow the day's real tide curve and the next high and low. At a river, see reported gauge height, discharge and temperature when available. A gauge has no forecast, so the line after its last observation is held, not predicted. Weather, tide, gauge and buoy coverage is for the United States and depends on nearby reporting stations. Keep a private catch log with photos, species, length, weight, place and notes. Your log is yours, and it exports to CSV. Browse the bundled species reference and seasonal tackle suggestions without a signal. Fishing rules open your state agency's own regulations, license and stocking pages. HookPoint never restates the rules. Verify with your state agency before you keep anything. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and the Should I go fishing today and Next fishing window actions in Shortcuts, read your last calculation without fetching conditions. Back up with iCloud is optional and off by default. If you choose it, your saved catches, photos, spots, home water and preferences are mirrored to your own private iCloud storage starting the next time HookPoint opens. An optional local fishing reminder is also off by default: choose an hour for one notification when tomorrow looks good at your water, using already cached data. If that data is stale, nothing is scheduled. No account. No ads. No subscription. Every feature is free, and the tip jar unlocks nothing.
