DNS Mail Info vs Druware DMARC Report Reader

This app is used to troubleshoot domain based email problems. It allows you to add any number of domains (limited by the hardware you are running it on) to test your DNS resolvers. Specifically, for BIMI, DMARC, NS, MX, SPF, and WhoIs records. The data is stored locally after a DNS refresh request has been performed. You can refresh one domain, or all of them at the same time. Once the domain data has been gathered, you can save a snapshot (or more). If a snapshot is different than the current information, the snapshot will highlight so you can review the changes. If you have a DMARC reporter configured, quick reports can also be made. Currently supported DMARC providers are Postmarkapp.com and Demarkreport.com. With access to other DMARC reporter's API, I can add others. Features: - Look up domain records using the default name servers, or from a list of public nameservers. - Domains can have a spefified default name server. - Domain look ups can be saved, and are tested for differences with last domain refresh - WhoIs information is also saved and is tested for differences domain refresh. - Many on-line DNS tools are simple click from within the app. - DNS records collected are: BIMI, DMARC, NS, MX, and SPF. - Whois record is collected - A set of example domains can be added as a quick start. - Mail can be sent to the domain MailTo using the host mail client - Refresh a single domain's DNS records or all of your configured domain's DNS records Roadmap: - Domain PDF reports can be email'ed or printed - Mail can be sent to a specific MX server.

Built out of a need and convenience, there is nothing dramatic of remarkable about this. It fills a need. Anyone that manages an email server these days is getting periodic DMARC reports. These reports are in XML, and are exceptionally well structured. They are also not built for human readability. Processing them to see issues and what is going on is a trying and mind numbing process. Instead, this parses them out into quick and easy readable and navigable results. The free to use version supports viewing up to 20 records. For most users, this should be ample to diagnose and handle issues. For those of us that need to deal with more than 20 records, well, you can unlock them with a one time, in-app purchase of $4.99. We do not gather any information from the application. Even your feature requests and bug reports are opened in an email that you have to send so that you can see precisely what information we are getting from you.
