It is not simply a static reader; it dynamically assembles each service according to the rites of the current day or any selected feast or date. Each document is generated on the fly with the appropriate hymns, rubrics, and instructions, removing uncertainty in the order of services. Coptic Reader supports English, Arabic, and Coptic, and allows flexible combinations of languages within the same document. The interface is available in both English and Arabic. The application is highly customizable, enabling you to show or hide liturgical roles (Priest, Deacon, Congregation), inaudible prayers, rubrics, and language layers according to your needs. The application has been rebuilt from the ground up using modern technology, enabling improved performance, maintainability, and future expansion. In addition to mobile platforms, Coptic Reader is now available on Windows, Mac OS, and the web at copticreader.org. A presentation mode allows projection of content for use in church services. Additional customization options include themes, text scaling, and control over commemorations for saints and archangels in doxologies, hymns, responses, and prayers.
