Nisala helps you see how the body settled during meditation, and turns your growing practice history into meaningful, personalized insight. The Apple Watch companion reads heart rate through Apple Health and movement from the watch during an active meditation. Nisala transforms these signals into a carefully estimated Body Response timeline, with stages such as Arriving, Settling, Still, and Deeply Settled. After each sit, record what you experienced and any insight that became clearer. Over time, your reflections, practice details, and body-response data become an invaluable input for Nisala’s on-device AI, helping it identify patterns and offer thoughtful observations on how you might refine your meditation practice. SEE HOW THE BODY SETTLED • Track heart rate and movement throughout an active meditation on Apple Watch • See when the body appeared to move through Arriving, Settling, Still, and Deeply Settled stages • Review the heart-rate and movement information behind each estimate • Compare the body’s response with your own experience and insights • Notice how your body-response patterns change over time TURN YOUR PRACTICE HISTORY INTO AI INSIGHT Nisala’s AI Practice Review brings together your complete practice record: Body Response stages, heart-rate information, session duration, practice type, reflections, insights, and optional Practice Profile. On supported devices, Apple’s on-device language model can use this record to: • Identify recurring patterns across your meditation sessions • Connect changes in the body with your recorded experiences • Explore how session length and practice type may affect the way you settle • Surface useful observations and questions to help you refine your practice • Create a thoughtful longitudinal review of how your meditation is developing The richer your journal becomes, the more context Nisala has for understanding the longer arc of your practice. When the on-device model is unavailable, Nisala provides a transparent statistical summary instead. JOURNAL THE COMPLETE PRACTICE • Record your experience and insights after each meditation • Add reflections by typing or iPhone dictation • Choose practice types such as Breath and Insight and Four Foundations of Mindfulness, or create your own • Add past or unrecorded sessions manually with their date, duration, optional start time, practice type, and notes • Return to any session to revisit its Body Response, reflection, and insights A GENTLE VIEW OF CONSISTENCY The practice calendar quietly shows the days you meditated, without streak pressure or judgment. Select a date to see its sessions and return to the complete journal entry. PRACTICE WITHOUT FRICTION • Begin an open-ended meditation with one tap • Start from either iPhone or Apple Watch • Continue recording on iPhone when an Apple Watch is unavailable • Keep timing-only sessions and reflections even when body measurements are not collected • Support longer sits for practitioners whose sessions extend beyond one hour PRIVATE AND PORTABLE Nisala requires no account. Your journal and optional Practice Profile remain in local app storage. Nisala does not send your practice record to Picmate or to a cloud AI service. Export your complete practice history whenever you want to keep a separate copy or analyze it using a service of your choice. Body Response stages and AI-generated observations are estimates intended for personal reflection. They are not medical measurements, proof of mental calm, a measure of meditation depth, professional guidance, or a declaration of attainment.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Nisala at 5.0 against Move2BFit's 4.3. Move2BFit's advantage is ratings volume (31 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Nisala holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Move2BFit has 31 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
