Don't get scammed on your next used car. Type a VIN, paste a listing, or snap photos — in about a minute SiftCar checks the records, recalls and the market, flags scam signals, prices the car, and tells you what to say. SiftCar is your used-car buying copilot. Start with whatever you have — a VIN alone is enough — and get an AI report in about 60 seconds: what the records say, whether the price is fair, what that model is known to break, and how to negotiate. Add the listing or photos later and the same report fills itself in, no second check. HOW IT WORKS 1. Start with what you have — a VIN, a listing link, or 3–20 photos. A VIN alone works; a dealer car fills in from its own advert. 2. AI checks — records, recalls, known issues, every earlier advert for that VIN, and the photos when you add them: damage, rust, resprays, tire wear 3. Get the verdict — Buy, Negotiate, or Walk away, with a seller script and in-person checklist. Add the price, mileage or photos later and the report re-scores in place. WHAT YOU GET • Check any VIN — no photos needed; the car's condition stays unseen until you add them, and the score says so • Listing history: every earlier advert for the VIN, and an alarm when an older advert showed more miles than the seller claims now • Condition findings from your photos (damage, rust, respray, wear) • Fair price vs market context (real listings data in the US) • Known issues for that engine / model year, grounded in NHTSA owner complaints • Scam-risk signals: mileage plausibility, VIN checks, reverse-image photo check • Official NMVTIS title, odometer, lien & theft records for US cars (Pro) • Negotiation script tailored to the findings • In-person inspection checklist • US VIN decode + open recalls (NHTSA in the US, Transport Canada in Canada) PRICING Your first full check is free. Then pick what fits: a single check with no subscription, a one-time 30-day pass that never auto-renews, a weekly plan (ideal while you're shopping) with a 3-day free trial, or an annual plan. Official title checks are included with every paid option — 2 a week on the weekly plan, 60 a year on annual, 4 with the 30-day pass, and one bundled with a single check — and extra title checks can be bought in the app if you need more. IMPORTANT SiftCar's condition assessment is AI-based on the photos and information you provide and is not a substitute for a professional mechanic inspection. Title, odometer, lien and theft records come from NMVTIS via a licensed data provider and cover US-titled vehicles. A lien report is not legal or financial advice — always confirm payoff and release directly with the lender. Always verify in person before you buy. SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS SiftCar Pro is an auto-renewable subscription: Weekly at $7.99 per week (with a 3-day free trial) or Annual at $69.99 per year. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in App Store settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. The 30-day pass and single checks are one-time purchases and never renew.
