Have you ever looked at your phone and thought, "Man, how dull"? Well, pray no more! Revo Launcher can bring a new soul to your device. It allows you to create icon and banner animations, and place a channel with them in your home menu. You can link each channel with an app from your phone, or a webpage, or a game... and it launches when you start the channel! Did you get bored of the current menu of your app? No problem! You can easily change the theme of the app and get a brand new look! 3 different sample themes are included with the app. And what if you don't want to create content yourself? Then you should enter the in-app Content Hub, where you'll be able to find animations and themes for any use you want, created by other dedicated Revo Launcher users :) We have a Discord server! Find it here: https://discord.gg/xjrEMS9QY4 And here's the Wiki link, where you can find more info about the app: https://github.com/KaruzoHikari/Revo-Launcher/wiki Disclaimer: This is just a fun app that could resemble some pre-existing menus, but has absolutely no copyrighted software code (it can't run any proprietary game or app). Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: SameBoy at 4.5 against Revo Launcher's 3.8. SameBoy also leads on ratings volume (110 vs 5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Revo Launcher's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and review sentiment (100% vs 83%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SameBoy sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Revo Launcher asks for nothing beyond the download.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

SameBoy holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SameBoy has 110 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of SameBoy's written reviews are positive against 100% of Revo Launcher's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
