AfroCom vs Jetstream for Bluesky

Whether you're looking to connect with people, discover what's happening around you, showcase what you're building, find opportunities, grow a business, join a community or stay connected to the wider Afro-community - AfroCom gives you a place to do it. *DISCOVER* Find relevant content and opportunities through a structured, location-aware feed. Discover: • Content and community posts • Classifieds • Businesses and services • Jobs • Events • Projects • Campaigns • Opportunities across your network and the wider Afro-community Use filters and location relevance to find what matters to you. *EXPLORE* Take discovery beyond the feed. Explore AfroCom through an interactive map to find content, people, businesses, projects, events and opportunities around you and across the global Afro-community. *SHARE* Your identity is more than one profile. Instead of designing primarily for endless scrolling and attention, we're building for relevance, connection and action. Find the right information. Find the right people. Find the right opportunities. Then do something with them. *BUILT WITH THE COMMUNITY* AfroCom is being developed progressively through community feedback, participation and co-creation. Our long-term vision is to build deeper capabilities around intelligent discovery, collaboration, community development and economic activity while keeping people and communities at the centre. Discover. Explore. Share. Search. Connect. AfroCom - built around you

This app allows you to view the Bluesky "firehose", which is a stream of every new post on the platform, in realtime. It also allows you to optionally filter to only show posts which have a certain word in them, and you can also filter which language the post uses. This app is not created by or endorsed by the official Bluesky team, but instead uses the wonderful atproto API.
