Reasonal is a critical thinking app that teaches logic, data analysis, and decision-making through short interactive lessons based on award-winning research. Learn to spot manipulation in news and media, recognize bias in yourself and others, and evaluate arguments properly. WHO IT'S FOR Built for professionals, students, and anyone who's tired of clickbait headlines, disinformation, manipulation, and questionable "studies" shared on social media. If you've ever caught yourself wasting time on something you later realized was nonsense, this is for you. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN - Critical Thinking: Analyze information faster, recognize logical fallacies, and spot biases to make better decisions and win more arguments. - Media Literacy: Identify misinformation, disinformation, and manipulative tactics before they work on you. - Decision Making: Understand how cognitive biases, sunk costs, and framing effects distort your choices, and learn frameworks to make clearer decisions under uncertainty. - Data Literacy: Interpret studies, statistics, and expert claims without getting fooled by bad methodology or cherry-picked data. HOW IT WORKS - Pick a topic: Critical thinking, logic, cognitive biases, data analysis, decision-making, economics, or media literacy. - Learn from real examples: Each lesson uses real-life examples, case studies, and award-winning research, not hypothetical textbook scenarios. - Follow your own path: The app adapts based on your responses. If you already understand something, it moves forward. If you have questions, it addresses them directly. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT - Human-written and research-backed: Every lesson is researched and written by hand, citing real studies with named researchers and verifiable data. No AI generation, no hallucinations, no recycled summaries. - Branching narratives: The lesson path changes based on your choices and understanding. You're not reading the same content as everyone else. - Not a brain training game or a book summary app: Reasonal teaches transferable reasoning skills through real research, not pattern-matching puzzles or 15-minute book recaps. FAQ - What is it? An app that teaches critical thinking and logic through research-backed, interactive lessons that adapt to what you already know. Think Duolingo, but for critical thinking and reasoning skills. - Is there an app that teaches logical fallacies and cognitive biases? That's exactly what Reasonal covers. Lessons walk you through real examples of fallacies and biases using published research, then test whether you can spot them in realistic scenarios. - How fast will I see results? Most users notice improved reasoning within the first week of daily lessons. Specific gains depend on which topics you start with. - Is this AI-generated content? No. Every lesson is researched and written by hand using reputable sources and real-world examples. - How is this different from other learning apps? Branching narratives that adapt to you. Real research with named studies, not hypothetical textbook examples. Focus on skills you'll use every day, not abstract theory. COURSES - Critical Thinking - Understanding Data - Decision Making - Media Literacy - Everyday Economics ...and more coming soon. GET STARTED Start your first lesson and begin evaluating information more effectively: improve critical thinking skills and logical reasoning, spot fake news and misinformation, understand cognitive biases and logical fallacies, analyze data effectively. About

Optics Simulator

Features

Optics Simulator turns the equations of clinical optics into live, interactive ray diagrams. Move an object, slide a lens along the optical axis, change diopters, rotate a prism — and watch the geometry, focal points, image position, and magnification update in real time. Each simulator displays its governing equation in textbook serif math, with the current numerical values substituted alongside, so you can connect the picture to the formula. A built-in practice section quizzes the underlying concepts with parameterised diagrams (the answer is hidden in the stem and revealed once you check your work). INCLUDED SIMULATORS • Snell's Law and Total Internal Reflection — refraction at an interface • Vergence and Thin Lenses — draggable object and lens, full three-ray construction • Schematic Eye — cornea + crystalline lens + axial length; lens shape changes with power • Refractive Errors — myopia and hyperopia with a spectacle at adjustable vertex distance • Lens Effectivity — see how moving a lens toward the eye changes effective power • Astigmatism — the Conoid of Sturm with a cross-section explorer • Telescopes — Galilean and Keplerian, both lenses are draggable • Simple Magnifier — at, inside, or beyond the focal length • Mirrors — concave, convex and plano, with C and F marked • Prisms — clinical prism diopters and geometric minimum-deviation REFERENCE • A formula sheet with every equation the app uses, typeset in serif math • Built-in practice problems organised by section DESIGN • Black-and-white interface so the colored rays remain the most prominent thing on screen • Adaptive layout: simulator stays visible alongside the controls in landscape • No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no internet connection required For health-profession students, ophthalmology residents, optometry students, and anyone who would rather see optics work than memorise formulas.
