Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Droid Vision at 5.0 against Video Camera's 4.2. Video Camera's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Droid Vision sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Video Camera asks for nothing beyond the download.
Droid Vision holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Video Camera has 24 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Video Camera ships an update every 2 weeks, Droid Vision every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
