Better games start here. Great pickleball happens when the players on the court match up. That's when the competitive spark kicks in — and why you keep coming back. REC+ gets you in those games. HOW IT WORKS Join through trust — Get in through DUPR verification or a player vouch. Every player is verified to keep games competitive. Find your level — Browse sessions by skill, format, court, and time. Request to join — hosts approve each player before play. Run the session you want — Create Rec Play, Challenge Court, Round Robin, or drill sessions. Choose who plays, set the format, and control the level. The Kitchen — Everything pickleball on Oahu in one place. See what's happening and pull together open play with people you trust. Crews — Your group chat, replaced. Plan the week with your regular players, then spin up sessions — private or open — right from the thread. Vouch for the next player — Know someone who belongs here? Vouch them in and help grow the network without lowering the level. BUILT FOR BETTER GAMES REC+ isn't about playing more. It's about playing better. Less guesswork. Better runs. Stronger competition. Launching on Oahu. More markets coming soon.

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: REC+ at every 4 days against Play's every 2 weeks. Play's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 3). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.
