Serial Cleaner is an action-stealth game set in the vibrant and gritty 1970s, where you play as a professional crime scene cleaner. Your job is to clean up after mob hits and other criminal activities without getting caught by the police, who are always on the lookout. The game blends humor, strategy, and fast-paced action in a unique way that challenges your tactical thinking. Serial Cleaner is all about balancing quick reflexes with smart planning. You need to stay unseen, time your movements, and use the environment to your advantage while cleaning up the mess left behind by criminals! You play as Bob Leaner, a regular guy who moonlights as a cleaner for mobsters, picking up odd jobs to earn money. Bob lives with his mother, and between taking her to bingo nights and doing chores, he gets calls from his shady underworld contacts to clean up after their messy work. The game embraces a funky 70s aesthetic, with bold colors, stylish minimalist art, and a soundtrack that evokes the period’s funky and jazzy vibes. It’s both lighthearted and gritty, offering a unique tone that stands out from more serious stealth games. Gameplay Overview: * Crime scene cleanup: Each level in Serial Cleaner is a crime scene where you must remove all evidence (bodies, weapons, blood, etc.) and make your escape without being spotted! You’ll need to sneak around, dodge police patrols, and time your actions perfectly to avoid detection. * Stealth mechanics: The game focuses on stealth. The police officers patrol the area, and it’s your job to study their movements and take advantage of blind spots to clean the scene staying unseen. If they spot you, they’ll give chase, and you’ll need to escape quickly before being caught. * Create your solutions: Each level can be approached in different ways. You can use distractions (like knocking over objects or turning on equipment) to lure the police away, hide bodies in certain spots, or even hide yourself in tall grass or closets. Adapt and use your environment to your advantage! * Challenging and Replayable: As you progress, the levels become more complex with additional mechanics like tighter spaces, more aggressive police, and more evidence to clean up. It's up to you to replay levels to improve your scores and times! Key Features: * Retro aesthetics: The art style is heavily influenced by 1970s pop culture, with bright, saturated colors, geometric shapes, and a minimalist design. This visual style helps the game stand out while giving it a nostalgic feel. * 70s soundtrack: The soundtrack perfectly complements the 70s vibe, with funky and jazzy tracks that keep the mood light yet intense, even during high-stress situations! * Real-time changes: As you clean a scene, the bloodstains you remove disappear, and the more bodies you collect, the fewer are left to deal with. This gives a satisfying sense of progression as you clear the crime scene, but also increases the tension as the police can stumble upon these changes if you're not careful.

Missing the golden age of classic strategy games? Then welcome aboard SeaCret! A real-time pirate simulator set in the heart of the Caribbean. Command your fleet in real time, buy goods cheap and sell them high in distant cities, engage in epic naval battles against fearsome pirates , from a humble sloop to a towering galleon , and even fight 1-on-1 duels to save your crew, clashing swords with wild physics and a variety of weapons and armor. Recruit villagers and assign them to your buildings to craft increasingly rare materials. Build houses to grow your workforce and expand your pirate empire. Hunt pirates across the Caribbean and earn bounties , or gamble your hard-earned gold at taverns in cockfights and extreme chess. Yes, really. Every detail matters: if waves crash against your ship, you will slow down. Sail against the wind? You will move slower than a sea pickle. Use three types of cannonballs to sink enemies, break their masts to stop them, or fire grapeshot to thin their crew, board them , and of course, steal their loot. Stealing from a thief? That is practically justice. Rise through the ranks and become Governor, convincing the people you are the best candidate to... collect taxes. But beware , get too greedy, and they will kick you out. SeaCret is now in Early Access, developed entirely by one person , from graphics to soundtrack. And best of all: no DLCs, no microtransactions, no loot boxes. Just like the old days , pay once, and the game is yours. All future updates are free. Enjoy SeaCret as much as I enjoyed building it. Yarrrg!

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Serial Cleaner at $4.99 against SeaCret 1's $39.99. Serial Cleaner also leads on rating (4.5 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (47 vs 2). SeaCret 1's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 69%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Serial Cleaner costs $4.99 and SeaCret 1 $39.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Serial Cleaner holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Serial Cleaner has 47 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Serial Cleaner's written reviews are positive against 100% of SeaCret 1's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
