Verdict
WSearch and WristWeb both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of WSearch's written reviews are positive against 33% of WristWeb's. WSearch also leads on price (Free vs $1.99) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). WristWeb's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 4). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

WSearch is free to download; WristWeb costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
WristWeb holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of WSearch's written reviews are positive against 33% of WristWeb's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
WSearch ships an update weekly, WristWeb monthly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
