Beandar helps you find the best spots. Beandar+ helps you remember the experience. Independent coffee only. No chains, no ads, no account. 300+ shops, trailers, roasters and pop-ups across San Antonio and Central Texas, growing one shop at a time. FIND THE BEST SPOTS - Every independent shop and coffee trailer we know about, with hours, ratings and directions - Open now, open late, roasters, workspaces, drive-thrus, patios, veteran discounts and more, one tap to filter - Search a shop by name, or a city, address or zip anywhere in Central Texas - Works offline: the whole directory lives on your phone, search included - What to order and what’s good to know (parking, Wi-Fi, outlets, dogs, kids, oat milk, real decaf), straight from the owners - Apple Maps, dark mode, and a heads-up on holidays when hours may differ - Type a shop’s name in your iPhone’s Spotlight search and it opens in Beandar - Share what’s on your radar as a beandar.com/near link (a zip, a radius, your filters), and open one someone sends you straight in the app EVENTS Throwdowns, cuppings, classes, live music, markets, release days and crawls at independent shops. Tap the calendar on the radar to see what is coming up, put an event on your radar for a reminder the morning of, add it to your calendar, or share its beandar.com/events link. FROM THE OWNERS Shop owners claim their listing and keep it current. Look for the “Owner verified” mark: those hours, notes and heads-ups (closed for a remodel, moving down the street, a seasonal drink) come straight from the people behind the counter. CRAWLS AND POP-UPS When someone runs a coffee crawl in town, Beandar is the map: open their beandar.com/crawl link and every stop is pinned in order with the host’s notes. Pop-ups (bike carts, market stands, anything that moves between spots) keep a schedule, so their pin and hours follow where they are today. REMEMBER THE EXPERIENCE Your Bean Log is your coffee life in one place. Put shops you mean to try On My Radar and see them as hollow pins. Fave the ones you love and see them gold on the map. Both are free for everyone, no limit. Beandar+ is the journal: stamp “Bean There” every visit with a note and a photo, rate in beans one to five, watch your city fill in, share a card of the visit, export it all as a PDF, and keep it in sync through your own iCloud. $0.99 a month or $9.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan. Your Bean Log is private to you. It lives on your phone and in your iCloud; Beandar only ever sees a count per shop (one more fave, one more visit), never your log. The same for events: one more person interested, never who. A HEADS UP, IF YOU WANT ONE Turn on notifications and we’ll let you know about giveaways and new shops near you. A few a month at most, off any time in About. BREW CRUSH Somewhere under About there is a deck of shops you have not tried, written up like dating profiles. Swipe right and the shop goes On My Radar. Swipe left and it stays between you and your phone. Beandar+ is an auto-renewing subscription billed to your Apple ID. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; manage or cancel in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. If it ends, your Bean Log stays yours.
