Engineering Site Tool for Immediate Metrics Across Terrains and Environments – Horizontal Construction (ESTIMATE - HC) ESTIMATE - HC is a mobile calculation tool for Navy and Marine Corps horizontal construction estimation. It can estimate a wide array of vehicle and logistic metrics with minimal input required. The app also features an augmented reality (AR) 3D model viewer mapped to physical space for estimating maintenance site layouts. The back-facing camera feed will be shown on the screen, and any point on the floor or ground can be tapped to place a model and view it in the real world. This feature works best on devices with a LiDAR camera.
