Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Diddit at 100% against Raycast's 54%. Diddit also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Raycast's advantage is ratings volume (252 vs 6) and update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Raycast sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Diddit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Diddit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Raycast has 252 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 54% of Raycast's written reviews are positive against 100% of Diddit's.
Raycast ships an update every 11 days, Diddit monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
