About

MyGrain

MyGrain is a migraine and headache diary. Log every episode in seconds, with everything around it, and arrive at your appointment with an organised history. It fits migraine with or without aura, tension headache, cluster headache and menstrual migraine. LOGGING TAKES SECONDS • You can start without creating an account. With your consent your diary is saved to the cloud from the first entry, and signing in later keeps it all. • Log today's episode, or fill in a past day by tapping it on the calendar. • Mark your pain-free days too, so your history counts the good days and not only the bad ones. WHAT YOU CAN RECORD • Type of episode: migraine with aura, without aura, tension headache, cluster headache, menstrual migraine, or a migraine-free day. • Pain intensity from 0 to 10 and how long the attack lasted. • Symptoms during the attack (nausea, light sensitivity, dizziness…) and the pre-symptoms or warning signs from the hours before. • Triggers: sleep, stress, food, alcohol, hormonal changes, screens and any you add yourself. • Treatments taken, and how well each one worked. • Where you were, which activities it affected, and any free notes you want to keep. • The weather at that moment (temperature, pressure and conditions) for the city you set in Settings; no GPS is used. • Create your own symptoms, pre-symptoms, triggers, places and activities: the lists adapt to you. WHAT YOU GET BACK • A calendar in month, two-week or week view, with each day colour-coded by type of episode and a legend. • Monthly reports with the breakdown of types, symptoms, triggers and treatments, exportable as a PDF for your doctor. • Trends: how your frequency moves month by month, and your runs of consecutive days with and without pain. • From your own diary: the triggers you log most often and what each one is; the treatments you rated as working; habits that go with your better stretches; the link with atmospheric pressure; a warning if acute medication use reaches overuse range or your log matches a chronic migraine pattern. They count what you recorded: they neither diagnose nor explain causes. TREATMENTS, HABITS AND REMINDERS • A catalogue of medication grouped by family (analgesics, NSAIDs, triptans, preventives…), searchable by brand name. • Dose reminders per treatment, at the frequency and time you set, plus a daily reminder so you do not forget to log. • Preventive habits — hydration, regular sleep, moderate caffeine, avoiding known triggers — to tick off each day. • Home screen widget: how today is going, your next treatment reminder, and one tap to log. PREMIUM Some features — selecting several symptoms, triggers and treatments in the same episode, the pattern and trend screens, the full breakdown in reports, PDF export and unlimited habits — are part of an optional subscription. Plans, durations and current prices are shown inside the app before you buy; it renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and is managed in your Apple ID settings.
