Autmet is an OBD-II car diagnostic app. Plug a Bluetooth adapter into your car's diagnostic port to read and clear trouble codes on your phone and see what they mean. The Garage keeps each car's records and due dates. ■ Read and clear codes Read current, pending and permanent codes, grouped by system and colored by severity. Each code comes with the freeze frame stored when it was set. After a repair, clear the codes in the app; Autmet reads them again right away to confirm they're gone. ■ 11,000+ codes, 100,000+ definitions Definitions cover 62 brands, with separate entries where a code means something different by make, model, year or engine. ■ AI analysis and diagnostic reports AI explains the likely causes behind your latest scan and what to check or repair. It can be wrong, so have a mechanic confirm before any repair. The professional diagnostic report for your shop holds only the data that was read. Export it as a PDF or send it by email. Reports are also saved to the car's records. ■ Full vehicle scan On supported models, the same scan also reads and clears codes in the car's other control modules. Supported models from 19 brands, including BMW, Toyota, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Kia and Mercedes-Benz. After connecting, the app tells you whether your car is supported. ■ Live data Watch speed, RPM, temperatures, fuel trims and other standard OBD-II values in real time. Build dashboards of up to 6 values as gauges, bars, charts or numbers, in portrait or landscape. ■ Maker data (supported models) On supported models, read manufacturer-specific signals beyond standard OBD-II, sorted by powertrain, chassis and body. Watch up to 6 per car, with a trend for the last few minutes. Requires a CAN connection. ■ Smog check See monitor readiness, the check engine light and confirmed codes, which is what an inspection station usually reads through the same port. Check it before your test to see which monitors aren't ready yet. ■ Garage Service, repairs and fuel sit on one timeline per car, with 12 months of spending at the top. Set service, insurance and inspection intervals by mileage or time, and Autmet shows the next due date and marks what's overdue. Snap a receipt or document, or type a sentence, and AI drafts the entries for you to review before saving. Photos are read on your phone and not uploaded. ■ Multiple cars, synced Add cars by scanning the VIN with the camera or typing the details. When you connect, Autmet reads the VIN and picks the right car. Sign in to sync your Garage across phones. ■ Start without an account Connect and read codes without signing up. Clearing codes, adding cars, saving reports and AI entry need an account. ■ Six languages The app and all code definitions are in English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano and 简体中文. —— What you need —— An ELM327-compatible OBD-II adapter, sold separately, such as the VEEPEAK OBDCheck BLE+. A Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) adapter is recommended; some phones also work with Classic Bluetooth adapters. Works with US vehicles from 1996, European gasoline cars from 2001 and diesel cars from 2004. Plug it into the port under the dashboard, turn on the ignition and follow the video guide in the app.
