today vs First Five Productivity

Being productive is not that difficult. You need to decide what to do, then do it—preferably today. Today offers a distraction-free app that focuses on what you must do today. Ideally, you get into a habit of finishing every task that needs to be done today, but if you don't get to it, it will be moved to the next day for you. Overloading your tasks into a single day is a recipe for disaster, so your today screen should be only tasks you intend to finish today. The rest can go in the backlog to be brought it when the day is right.

You know that task you've been putting off? The one that's been sitting on your to-do list for days — maybe weeks? Here's the secret: you don't need to finish it. You just need to start. First Five helps you break through procrastination by committing to just 5 minutes. Set a task, tap Start, and watch the countdown. When the timer hits zero, you've already done the hardest part. And more often than not? You'll keep going. How it works: • Add any task you've been avoiding • Commit to just 5 minutes • Watch the countdown timer — then celebrate when you hit it • Track how long you actually worked once momentum kicks in
