The Holy Scriptures in Dungan vs Лукā Ӣсӯстулӣ дукунан

This app will help Dungan people not only listen to, but also learn how to read the Holy Scriptures in their own language, written in the Dungan Cyrillic alphabet. The translation gives the meaning of the original Hebrew and Greek Scriptures in a way that is intended to be clear and natural for Dungan speakers. It has been recorded so that users can listen to the translation while following along as the text is highlighted. This helps strengthen the user's understanding of the written text, while helping improve their ability to read Dungan. A glossary of words that may not be well known to some users has been included so that they can increase their learning of the Dungan language. The glossary also includes certain words that are specific to the culture and background of the original audience to whom the Holy Scriptures were written.

This app contains the translation of Luke’s Gospel into the Evenki language, produced by the Institute for Bible Translation. It facilitates the offline study of the Scriptures in Evenki. It also contains the Russian Synodal translation, which can optionally be displayed in parallel. Users can highlight verses in different colors, place bookmarks, write notes and view the reading history. The app also includes a glossary of key terms.
