About

Pulso Ciudad

Features

Pulso puts the weather of Medellín and the Aburrá Valley on one map, from what SIATA publishes: where it is raining right now, how the rivers are running, what the air is like and what tomorrow looks like. And now also temperature, wind and rivers across the rest of Antioquia. Pulso is an independent app. It does not represent SIATA, the Área Metropolitana del Valle de Aburrá, IDEAM or any other government entity, and is not affiliated with them. It uses only public data, published by those same organisations. WHAT YOU CAN SEE • Rain radar, animated over the last hour • River and stream levels, in the risk colour SIATA reports • Air quality: overall AQI, PM2.5, PM10, O₃ and NO₂ • Temperature and wind by station • Two-day forecast for all 13 municipalities and corregimientos • Temperature, wind and river levels across the rest of Antioquia • Recent earthquakes in Colombia and where they were felt • Medellín Metro, EnCicla bike share and the valley's bus routes • A widget with your municipality's forecast on your home screen BUILT FOR A VALLEY WITH REAL RISK When a layer comes up empty, Pulso tells you why: the data did not arrive, SIATA is not responding, or you have no connection. An empty map is not the same as a calm valley, and this app does not present it as one. Every screen shows the time of the data you are looking at, and offline it shows the last saved data, labelled as saved. OPTIONAL ALERTS You can switch on severe-event alerts in Settings. Alerts only — never advertising. The data depends on what SIATA publishes, so Pulso cannot guarantee an alert will always arrive. NO ACCOUNTS, NO ADS No sign-up, and we do not sell data. If you allow location, Pulso shows your position on the map and your municipality's forecast. Your location is used only on the phone and only while the app is open; only the municipality is saved, never your coordinates, and you can decline. DATA SOURCES Pulso is an independent app and does not represent any government entity. All data is public: Pulso only reads what these organisations publish on their own channels. It has no privileged access, no agreement and no reserved channel.
