Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: ConvertMyUnits at 5.0 against XPOLAR's 2.6. ConvertMyUnits also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). XPOLAR's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
