About

Abbjad | أبجد

Features

Abbjad is the school app for families and staff — built to work where the school day actually happens: car parks, basements, and bus routes with weak signal. WORKS WHEN YOUR CONNECTION DOESN'T Most school apps are a website in a wrapper: lose the network and you lose everything. Abbjad is a native app that keeps your child's data on your device, encrypted. Open it in a lift, on the bus or in a school corridor, and the timetable, homework, attendance, fees and bus route are there straight away. Anything you do offline is saved and sent automatically when the network returns. Report an absence from the car park and it arrives once you're back on the road. Nothing is lost and nothing needs retyping. FOR PARENTS • Your day at a glance — current lesson, attendance, homework due and amounts owed • Live bus map during the trip, with an alert when the bus is near home • Choose the morning and afternoon bus separately, or tell the school you'll bring your child yourself • Request an early pickup • Chat with your child's teachers and the school office • Homework, subjects and lesson summaries, with teachers' notes, photos and videos • Fees, invoices and payment history, including paying by uploading a transfer receipt • Report an absence, and undo it if plans change • Home Screen widgets for today's timetable and the bus, plus a Live Activity during the trip • Switch between your children with one tap FOR TEACHERS • Attendance in a few taps, with one shared register per class and day • Send a lesson summary to several classes at once, with photos and videos • Chat with parents • Class lists, timetable and daily summaries • Staff who are also parents use one account for both FOR BUS SUPERVISORS • Boarding stop by stop: tap the child, or use face recognition, a QR card or an NFC card — whichever methods your school enables • A loud safety alarm if the bus moves while a child at the stop is still unaccounted for • Confirm each child's hand-over at the school gate • Manage your route's stops, with change history and undo • Everything is recorded offline and synced later, because the bus is exactly where the signal drops BUILT FOR ARABIC Abbjad is not an English app with Arabic added on. Arabic and English are both first-class: correct right-to-left layout, Arabic numerals where they belong, and text written by fluent speakers. PRIVACY AND SECURITY Your child's data is stored encrypted on your device and sent only to your school. Sign in with a passkey or Face ID instead of typing a password. Abbjad is sold to schools — your family's data is never sold, and there are no third-party ads. WANT A LIGHTER VERSION? Abbjad Lite is a smaller, web-based version that runs on a wider range of devices. It needs a connection, but it installs in seconds and supports older phones: https://apps.apple.com/om/app/id6789119708 Abbjad requires an account from a participating school.
