Quick Note

Quick Note is a calm, fast notepad for everything you need to remember. Open it, capture the thought, get on with your day. No sign-up. No email. No password. Your notes are yours the second the app opens. CAPTURE IN ONE TAP The compose button opens straight into whatever you need: a blank note, a checklist, a reminder, a voice memo or a photo. Nothing to configure first. • Rich text with a simple formatting bar — bold, italic, headings, quotes, code and tables • Checklists you tick off with a tap, right on the card • Photos from your library, attached in seconds • Document scanner that turns paper into a clean, cropped page • Voice notes with live waveform and one-tap playback • Freehand drawing and handwriting with Apple Pencil or your finger • Any file, kept alongside the note it belongs to SEARCH THAT ACTUALLY FINDS IT Text recognition reads the words inside your photos and scans, so a receipt, a whiteboard or a business card turns up in search like any other note. Search covers titles, body text, tags and recognised text at once. ORGANISE HOWEVER YOU THINK • Folders for the big buckets • Tags for everything that crosses them • Eight colours to make a note findable at a glance • Pin the ones that matter to the top • Smart folders that save a search you keep repeating • Archive to clear the list without losing anything • Trash that holds deleted notes for 30 days • Grid or list, sorted by newest, oldest, title or last edited KEEP THE PRIVATE ONES PRIVATE Mark any note as locked and it disappears behind a passcode, hidden from your list and from search until you unlock it. Face ID and Touch ID work too. REMINDERS THAT SHOW UP Attach a date and time to a note and a notification arrives when it matters. No separate reminders app to keep in sync. BACKED UP, QUIETLY Notes back themselves up in the background so a lost phone does not mean lost notes. Sign-in is anonymous — there is no account to create and no personal details to hand over. You can delete everything, on the device and on the server, from Settings whenever you like. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN • Home screen widgets in three sizes, showing what is still open • Lock screen widgets for a glance without unlocking • Siri Shortcuts — "Add a note", or ask how many notes are still open BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY • Full dark mode, or follow your system setting • Ten languages: English, Turkish, German, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Italian • Works offline; everything syncs when you are back • Designed for iPhone and iPad Quick Note is free and supported by ads. One small, one-time purchase removes them for good — no subscription, ever.

On Written, you buy books direct from the writers who wrote them, actually own every copy, and read in a custom ebook reader built for long nights. The authors here publish their own work, set their own prices, and keep 90% of every sale. The book you buy stays yours. Read it tonight, reread it in two years, return to it at 3am whenever you need to. When you are done with a limited edition, you can list it for resale. Until that moment, no one can take it away. You might buy a book to read once and move on. You might buy to keep. Or you might buy a limited edition early, watch the print run sell out, and resell your copy years later when it has become genuinely rare. The whole creator economy lives inside Written. Authors get paid on every resale, you get a real asset, and books move through the hands that want them. Every purchase goes straight to the author. 90% of every sale, plus royalties whenever you resell their copy. You can finally support a favorite author the direct way, no retail giant in the middle pocketing the bigger half. Written reads like a bookstore run by someone with very good taste and zero corporate oversight. The shelves carry writers you'll be the first to hear about, the kind who become everyone's next favorite, one reader at a time. They also carry indie names with real reach, including the author of a book that ended up in Dua Lipa's book club. And every so often, a household-name writer drops a custom edition available nowhere else, because Written treats their work with the kind of care publishers used to give writers they believed in. You will find romance, romantasy, fantasy, thrillers, horror, literary fiction, memoir, poetry, and original work from writers who started in fandoms. Currently in English and Spanish, with more languages on the way. Follow your favorite writers inside the app. Read their updates, vote in their polls, comment on their posts, and talk to them. Conversations between you and the people whose work you love, in chronological order, before algorithms got in the way. The reader itself is custom built and quietly good at its job. Full support for modern EPUB3 as well as PDF. Fonts, sizes, line spacing, page colors, highlights, and bookmarks. The cherry on top. Read what you want. Own what you buy. Collect what is rare. Support the writers behind every book.

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Written at none against Quick Note's 1. On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
