Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pantry at 100% against Cuppings's 25%. Pantry also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 8 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Cuppings's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (14 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Written reviews point the same way: 25% of Cuppings's written reviews are positive against 100% of Pantry's.
Cuppings ships an update every 8 months, Pantry every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
