Ride Journal
Read full descriptionHide full description
Ride Journal — where your cycling data meets the story behind the ride. Your power numbers and heart rate tell you what happened on a ride. Ride Journal helps you capture everything else: the climb that nearly broke you, the café stop halfway, the view at the top, and how it all felt by the time you rolled home. Import a ride from a .fit file or bring in a workout from your Wahoo account, then bring it to life. Add your own notes, rate how hard it felt, drop in photos from along the way, and attach the playlist that powered you up the hill so you can relive the whole adventure later. Connect your Wahoo account once and every workout you've recorded is a tap away. Pick one from the list and it arrives as a new journal entry, complete with distance, time, climbing, heart rate, power, cadence and training load. The weather is part of the story now. The Home tab sits under a living sky that matches the forecast where you are — sun moving across it through the day, clouds drifting with the wind, rain or snow falling when it's falling outside, and the colours of night once the sun has set. Open a ride and the same sky shows the weather you set off in. It's your journal. Add your name, your pronouns and a photo, and Ride Journal greets you by name every time you open it, with a line underneath about the ride you have already done today or a nudge towards the one you haven't. Your profile holds the whole story as well: every ride, every kilometre, every hour and every metre climbed, your longest ride, your biggest climb, and the day the journal started. Find anything in it. Search by where you rode or a word you wrote, then narrow it down — distance, duration, climbing, average speed, heart rate, power, cadence, training load, how the ride felt, the weather, the road, whether you took photos. Switch to Climbs and search those instead. With a subscription you can simply type what you mean, like "wet rides over 50 km", or ask a question and get a written answer above the results, written on your device by Apple Intelligence. Your week and your month read as more than a grid. Week in Numbers and Month in Numbers put your total distance over a day-by-day chart, with your rides, moving time, climbing, average speed and heart rate, your longest ride and the place you set off from most, plus a short written summary of the figures that tell the story. Features - A living weather sky on the Home tab and on every outdoor ride - Import workouts from your Wahoo account - Rate how hard every ride felt - An interactive route map and detailed measurement charts for every ride - Search your journal by place, notes, distance, climbs and more - Search in your own words and get a written answer, with a subscription - A profile with your name, your photo and your all-time totals - Week and month summaries written on your device by Apple Intelligence - Ask Siri for your latest ride, your ride stats, or to find a ride - Find rides and climbs in Shortcuts and build them into your own automations - Weather recorded automatically for every outdoor ride, from Apple Weather - Automatic climb detection with categories from Cat 4 to Hors Catégorie - Steepness-shaded elevation profiles and a route map for every climb - Record road conditions — grip, surface quality, and how busy it was - Import rides from .fit files exported from your bike computer or cycling app - Heart rate and power zones, Health workout import and saving rides to Apple Health, on iPhone, iPad and Apple Vision Pro - Sync automatically across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro via iCloud - Privacy-focused: no tracking, and your journal stays private to you Whether you're chasing personal bests or just chasing good times, Ride Journal keeps the full picture of every ride in one place. Your data should be yours. The runs, rides, and swims you've logged over the years belong to you, not to whichever platform holds them. FitFerry moves them into Apple Health and back out again, whenever you like. Import GPX, TCX, and FIT files — one at a time or a whole export zip from other platforms, like Strava or Garmin — into Apple Health as genuine historical workouts: original dates, GPS routes, heart rate, and distance. Every file is previewed first and logged after. Workouts already imported are skipped and likely duplicates are flagged, so importing the same export twice is safe. IMPORT ▸ Bring GPX, TCX, and FIT files into Apple Health as genuine historical workouts with real past dates, GPS routes, and heart rate ▸ Drop in a whole platform export zip and bring your entire history over in one pass ▸ The File Inspector shows exactly what each file carries before anything is written ▸ Delete anything FitFerry imported — one workout, one batch, or everything EXPORT ▸ Take workouts out of Apple Health as GPX or TCX files ▸ Filter, multi-select, and export as many as you like ▸ Export is always free and unlimited No accounts. No analytics. No data on servers. No third-party access. Your files and health data are processed on your iPhone or iPad. FitFerry is not affiliated with Apple, Strava, or Garmin.
