Lockin blocks the apps you waste time on — and lets you earn them back by exercising. The average person spends 3–5 hours a day on distraction apps. Most screen time tools fail because they rely on willpower: you set a limit, hit it, and tap "Ignore Limit." There's no real cost to breaking the promise. Lockin changes that. It uses Apple's Screen Time API to enforce real, OS-level app blocking — not a reminder you can dismiss, but a shield you can only remove by moving your body. HOW IT WORKS 1. Your apps get locked Choose which apps to block. Everything else stays fully accessible — banking, maps, messaging, camera. 2. Move to earn Do pushups, squats, planks, or wall sits on camera. Go for a run with your WHOOP or Strava. Walk 10,000 steps. Exercise earns screen time. 3. We verify it On-device camera counts your reps using pose detection. Wearable workouts sync automatically. No shortcuts, no cheating. 4. Unlock and use Start a timer with your earned minutes. Blocked apps unlock. When the timer runs out, they lock again. FEATURES • Real app blocking — Uses Apple's Screen Time API. Even if you force-quit Lockin, the blocks stay. • Camera-verified exercises — Pose detection counts pushups, squats, planks, wall sits, sit-to-stands, and walking in place. All on-device; no video is stored or uploaded. • Wearable auto-sync — Connect WHOOP, Strava, or Apple Health. Workouts automatically earn screen time in the background. • Daily step rewards — Hit step milestones (3K–15K) to earn bonus minutes. • Streaks & grace days — Build a streak every day you earn. 3 grace days per week cover the days you can't. Planned rest days never break your streak. • Time banking — Unused minutes roll over to tomorrow (up to 2 hours). • Live Activities — Unlock countdown on your lock screen and Dynamic Island. • Personalized plan — A quiz builds your custom reduction plan based on your screen time, goals, and exercise preferences. • Lock screen widgets — Track earned time and streaks at a glance. • Privacy-first — We never see which apps you use. Camera processing stays on your device. No ads, no tracking. SUBSCRIPTION Lockin offers weekly, annual, and lifetime premium plans. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
