About

DrainReport

Features

DrainReport turns a sewer camera run into a report your homeowner can read. Run your push camera down the line. When you see a problem, photograph the monitor with your iPhone, pick the defect, and type the footage from the reel counter. DrainReport pins every finding on one footage strip, from 0 to the end of the run, colored by severity, so the homeowner can see how bad it is and where. Then preview the PDF and send it before you leave the job: the footage strip, a photo and recommended fix for each defect, your overall assessment, and your company name and license. YOU DIAGNOSE, THE APP DOCUMENTS DrainReport does not look at your camera's video and does not diagnose anything. You choose each defect from a plumber's list, set its severity, and edit the recommended action. The report records what you saw. HOW IT WORKS • Works with any push or CCTV camera: you photograph its monitor with the iPhone camera, no special hardware • Enter the job once: homeowner, address, access point, camera, pipe material and where the run ended • Add findings with a photo, defect type, footage, severity, a recommendation and a note • The job's overall priority follows the worst finding • Preview the whole PDF, then share it from the share sheet • Lengths are shown in feet or metres to match your region • Every inspection is kept in History; open one again to re-send it • No account. Inspections and photos are stored on your iPhone, and a report leaves it only when you share it. Building an inspection and a PDF needs no signal, handy in a crawlspace or basement. DEFECTS YOU CAN LOG Root intrusion · crack · fracture · offset or separated joint · belly or sag with standing water · grease and scale buildup · hole or void in the wall · broken or collapsed pipe · infiltration · protruding tap or lateral · deteriorated or corroded pipe · blockage or debris · material or feature note · other observation FREE AND PRO Free: unlimited inspections, History, and two exported reports. Each free PDF carries a small "Made with DrainReport" footer, and a report you have already exported can be exported again. DrainReport Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. It unlocks unlimited reports, removes the footer, and puts your company logo on every report. Purchases go through the App Store; Restore is in Settings. BUILT FOR Drain and sewer plumbers, and home inspectors who offer sewer scope inspections. — DrainReport is a documentation tool. It is not a NASSCO/PACP-certified assessment, an engineering evaluation or a home-inspection report, and it does not grade pipe condition to any standard. Findings, severity ratings and recommendations are the judgment of the person who ran the camera, not of the app. Before major excavation or pipe replacement, homeowners are advised to get independent confirmation of the recommended repair.
