Open the app and tap the “Call Aira” button 3. An ASL interpreter will pick up your call and work with you to accomplish whatever task you are interested in. Using the phone's front-facing camera, microphone, and speaker, you can either prop up your device or hold it in one hand while signing with the other. The interpreter will then facilitate communication by signing what is spoken through the microphone and voicing what is signed through the camera. 4. Once you’ve accomplished your task, end the call. 5. Call back anytime you like—Aira ASL is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, and you’ll never need to book in advance.
