MyHSDC vs UoP Open Days

An App for HSDC students and their parents /carers. This App is for HSDC students at the following campuses: Alton, Havant and South Downs. The MyHSDC App provides live information about progress at College and also enables notifications to be sent live to students, parents and carers. The following information is available via MyHSDC: Student timetable Exam timetable Attendance Form to report an absence Marks from assessments/mock exams Comments from teachers Meetings with tutor/teachers Targets set by teachers Targets set by students Log of enrichment activities Plans after college Also live notifications sent to you that pop up on your phone to alert you of important events/activities such as: To students and their parents/carers: “Staff Development Day tomorrow - college closed” To students: “Arrive at 9am in reception to meet for the New York trip"

SIGN-IN To access some of the above features you will need Internet connectivity and be asked to register for an account or sign in using Facebook or Twitter and give permission for storing your ID on our servers. ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION To request deletion of your account and all associated data, go to the menu, tap SETTINGS, then EDIT MY ACCOUNT and tap the “Delete My Account” button. You will then receive an email at the address of your logged in account asking you to confirm your data deletion request. LOCATION SERVICES To enable Find-a-Friend to work, you will need to allow the app to access your Contacts as well as location when running in the background. BATTERY Continued use of location services running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This App has been designed to minimise the impact on your battery life and in most cases will be unnoticeable, but results may vary based on network conditions and usage.
