Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Thesys at 4.7 against Bluetooth Midi Keyboard's 3.0. Thesys also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 33 months) and ratings volume (85 vs 4). Bluetooth Midi Keyboard's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Thesys holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thesys has 85 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Thesys's written reviews are positive against 67% of Bluetooth Midi Keyboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Thesys ships an update every 2 months, Bluetooth Midi Keyboard every 33 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
