There's a sound that exists only where you're standing right now. Sonic Nomads is a location-based sound map app for recording and sharing sound. Capture the sound of each place, leave it on the map, and discover — and listen to — the sounds others have left behind. ■ Discover on the map Sounds collected from all over appear as pins on the map. The noise of a market in the next neighborhood, rain in an alley in a city you've never visited, waves on a beach you've never stood on — tap a pin, and the story of that place and moment plays. From next door to the other side of the world, follow the sounds someone else left behind. ■ Capture, right where you are Tap once to start recording, and the sound is captured along with your location at that moment. Watch the level meter as you record, and keep recording even if you lock your screen or switch to another app. · Basic mode For quick recording and uploading. Record easily in lightweight M4A/MP3 format, choosing sample rate (44.1/48 kHz), bitrate (128/192/320 kbps), channel (mono/stereo), and microphone. · Advanced mode For capturing sound with more precision. Record in lossless WAV/FLAC format at working quality, with control over sample rate (44.1/48 kHz), bit depth (16/24 bit), channel (mono/stereo), gain, and microphone. ■ Your own archive Everything you capture builds up in My Page. Edit titles and descriptions anytime, and decide when to make each recording public. Listen back, save to your device, or delete it — it's yours. ■ Start instantly with Kakao, Google, or Apple No complicated sign-up — get started right away with a social account you already use. ■ People who listen together Sound isn't something you own alone — it becomes yours when you share it by listening together. The sound you leave behind might be someone's first impression of an unfamiliar city, or someone else's memory of a neighborhood they left long ago. Leave the sound of where you are, right now. Sonic Nomads — for people who walk following sound.
