Find your next film in one sentence. Describe a mood, a reference, or a feeling — "something like Drive but more melancholy," "a 70s heist film with great cinematography," "Japanese slow cinema" — and Forage delivers three hand-selected recommendations built around your exact taste. No algorithms. No noise. Just cinema. WHY FORAGE: • Natural language search — forget filters and genre dropdowns. Describe what you're in the mood for and Forage understands. No more scrolling through 300 titles. • Curated, not algorithmic — Forage selects 3 films, not 30. Each recommendation comes with the director, year, community rating, and a clear explanation of why this film fits your prompt. • Streaming in one place — see instantly whether a film is on Netflix, Max, Mubi, the Criterion Channel, or anywhere else. Know before you look. • Cultural lineage — every recommendation includes what influenced it, what movement it belongs to, and how it connects to your search. Discover films and understand them. • Community ratings — real scores from cinephile communities, not casual aggregates from platforms with a financial interest in keeping you watching. • Watchlist — save films as you discover them. Sign in to sync your list across all your devices. FOR SERIOUS FILM LOVERS AND CURIOUS BEGINNERS ALIKE: Already working through a director's filmography? Forage finds the gaps. Just getting started? Forage is the most painless path from "I want to watch something good tonight" to pressing play on a film you'll remember. Free to start. No credit card required.
