PlayCadence is a treadmill rhythm game. Your phone's mic listens to your footsteps and scores your cadence (SPM) on an in-app rhythm lane. No watch, foot pod or heart-rate strap: put your phone on the treadmill tray, pick a course and start. Keep the app open while you run. ■ How to play Notes fall down a DDR-style rhythm lane. Match your steps per minute to the course target for Perfect, Great! Drift off and it's a Miss. Build combos toward up to 1,000,000 points and earn a grade for every run. ■ Key features • Rhythm lane game judged against the course's target SPM • YouTube mixes picked for your target cadence, played right in the app • Local music: free genre packs matched to cadence (Elec, House), plus optional music packs for more genres. Plays offline without YouTube • Cadence on an in-app HUD: big numbers and colors at a glance • Check your cadence by eye with numbers, colors and the HUD, so you don't have to rely on sound • History that keeps your cadence graph, score and grade • Sign in with Apple to post scores to the world ranking (you can skip it) • Measured with just your phone's mic. Mic audio is processed only on the device and we don't send it to our servers ■ Why cadence? Cadence is your steps per minute. A steady target gives indoor treadmill workouts a clear goal. PlayCadence turns that goal into a game. ■ Getting started 1. Allow microphone access 2. Place your phone on the treadmill tray, facing the belt 3. Pick a course and start Earphones make it even better. Keep the app open while you run. Leaving the app pauses your run, and the mic doesn't turn on in the background. Want more genres? There's an optional music pack. A one-time purchase, not a subscription, unlocks Phonk, Hardstyle, K-pop, Rock, Techno, Disco and Trance, plus genres added later. Elec and House stay free. It's separate from Remove Ads and doesn't remove ads. PlayCadence is free with ads. Remove Ads, music packs and tips are available as in-app purchases. Not a medical device. For fitness use.

PlayCadence's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 70%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
