Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Raffle Name at 4.7 against Magic Sorting Hat's 2.7. Raffle Name also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (5.3K vs 23). Magic Sorting Hat's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
