About

Decumanus

Decumanus turns the places you already saved in Google Maps into an ordered itinerary, day by day — with no account to create and no servers of ours. • Import your lists: a Google Takeout file, a KML or KMZ from My Maps, or a single Google Maps link. Each file becomes a list of your own, with names, notes and the original link readable straight away — before the app has even looked the place up on a map. • Build the trip: make the days, drag stops within a day and from one day to another, or deal the whole pile onto a map, choosing the day with a tap. • Know how long it takes: between one stop and the next, Decumanus works out the time on foot, by car, by bike or on public transport, and draws the real route on the map wherever it can. A measured leg always looks different from an estimate. • Sunrise and sunset for every day, at your trip's own coordinates: knowing how much daylight is left is half of planning. • Out there, the Today tab tells you where you stand in the day, how long until the next stop, and lets you mark the ones you have done. The day rearranges itself around what you actually saw. • Bookings and expenses attached to the stop they belong to, with tickets and files, a budget and per-day totals. • A travel journal, with photos, day by day. • Share a trip or a list of places with whoever is coming: they see it update as you change it, and can change it themselves. • A widget, a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and a glance on Apple Watch, so you know the next stop without opening anything. • Before you leave, prepare the maps of every day and every stop, to look at with no connection at all. Your data stays on your device and in your own iCloud, where we cannot reach it. There is no account to create, no advertising, no trackers and no analytics: we receive nothing of yours.
