Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: EverythingWeather at 4.8 against See's 3.4. EverythingWeather also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 5). See's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 91%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. See sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and EverythingWeather sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
EverythingWeather holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EverythingWeather has 1.4K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of See's written reviews are positive against 91% of EverythingWeather's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
See ships an update every 3 weeks, EverythingWeather every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
